Following the mysterious death of the author's son, Richie, in September, 2003, a long and agonizing battle began with the Jackson County, MO, Medical Examiner, which entailed the exhumation of Richie's body, a private autopsy by Kansas University Medical Center, and the cause of death being corrected on Richie's death certificate.

A great wealth of understanding and the close relationship with a network of key individuals was gained by having endured this four-year-long ordeal. We stand ready to offer guidance to those who find themselves in similar situations.
